Toro Workman GTX Superior Drive Tour – Schaumburg, IL

Toro Workman GTX Superior Drive Tour

Simply Superior

The Toro Company has taken the new Workman GTX utility vehicle on a cross-country tour showcasing its seemingly endless configurations, diverse abilities and overall comfort. The Workman series of utility vehicles have been the pillars of maintenance staffs across the world for decades. With multiple seating, bed and attachment options, the Workman GTX provides an unmatched level of flexibility that allows a staff to tackle many different jobs with just one vehicle.

The Toro Workman GTX Superior Drive Tour made stops throughout the country from Florida to New York and everywhere in between. Attendees range from Superintendents to Sports Field Managers and general maintenance staff, as well. Toro did an excellent job of presenting several different configurations of the Workman GTX and the possible attachments: ATV tires, front and rear receivers, canopies, cabs, racks, flat beds and more.

We caught up with the Superior Drive Tour at Olympic Park in Schaumburg, IL. Todd King, Superintendent of Schaumburg Parks, was kind enough to host the event and luckily the weather decided to play nice (Thanks, Mother Nature!). A short course was setup to test-drive the different vehicles, both gas and electric models, with a handful of speed bumps and off-road terrain. Attendees walked away with a grasp on the many abilities of the Workman GTX, a first-hand feel for the vehicle and how it handles. Oh yeah, a coupon towards the purchase of a Workman. Not too shabby.
