Winter Products: New for 2018-19

The latest in winter product offerings for 2018

With the turn of each season, new products are unveiled with fancy new features and lofty promises of what they can do for your business. We’re not making any guarantees, however, in 2018, we’ve introduced some great products from a variety of vendors.

Whether you’re looking for a spreader, de-icer or a do-it-all snow contractor kit, we’ve compiled the best of the best so you can shop confidently.

Spyker’s latest commercial-grade broadcast spreader is the Ergo-Pro, designed for accuracy, efficiency and comfort.

In addition to large pneumatic tires, the Ergo-Pro features the industry’s first ergonomically approved handle. If you’re going to cover 2000 square feet, you might as well be comfortable doing it. The ergonomically approved handle can be adjusted from 5’3” to 6’6” height to reduce fatigue.

The new Ergo-Pro Spreader from Spyker is available in two frames: powder-coated or stainless steel. An all-welded, impact-resistant frame with fully enclosed metal gears provides prolonged durability.

The Ergo-Pro will be your go-to spreader for seasons to come.

Entry Liquid De-icer from Secure Winter Products touts a unique formula that protects against re-freezing and easily penetrates snow and ice on contact. Entry is incredibly quick-acting — typically you can see results in less than 5 minutes.

Entry also sets itself apart from other ice melt products with their Chloride and Urea-free formula.  Chlorides, commonly found in many ice melt products, can be harmful to animals as well as dehydrating nearby turf and ornamentals.

Quick Tips

  • Apply when temperature is between 0˚F – 30˚F.
  • Remove as much snow and ice as possible before applying
  • Apply using a vertical fan tip nozzle
